Thanks to the high level of specialization, all the commissioned plastic processing processes are carried out within LIRAS’s facilities therefore ensuring control of the whole product formation process and a high standard of quality.
The main technologies used in plastics processing are: thermoforming, 2D and 3D cutting laser and 2D and 3D milling, hot bending, laser marking, screen printing, bonding.
Thanks to the experience of its technicians LIRAS is able to accompany the customer in the creation of any type of plastic piece created through vacuum forming ABS, ABS + acrylic film, polycarbonate, PETG, acrylic, PVC and other materials available on the market.
Thanks to computerized plastic thermoforming systems and robotic 5-axis CNC milling systems, it’s possible to achieve a high standard in finishing.
During the thermoforming process plastics you can add metallic parts (washers, nuts, special joints etc.) depending on the customer’s design needs.
Laser technology (both 2D and 3D) offers maximum precision, flexibility, speed and high surface finishing on both flat and curved or complex shapes.
Thanks to its characteristics of creating a clean, continuous and polished edge cut, Laser technology is able to guarantee a high quality finished product.
CNC milling consents additional finishing on molded plastic pieces with flat, curved, or complex shapes.
Hot bending and gluing are technologies through which LIRAS forms plastic and constructs the object.
We offer screen printing on plastic, and we are able to create pieces such as: synoptic panels, four-color panels, backlit signs, screen printed and thermoformed details, and much more.
